We’re a bunch of folks from Toronto’s East End committed to giving back to our community
We gather 4 times a year, each member donates $100 to benefit an East End charity voted on by the group, and have a blast doing it!

5-Year Anniversary Event (Feb/2024)
We celebrated our 5-Year Anniversary hosted by Beaches Brewing Co., who gave us the restaurant for the night (and even sponsored shots for the group…!)
The group voted to support Children’s Breakfast Clubs nominated by Scott Pickup
The Breakfast Clubs has provided healthy meals to children across southern Ontario, including several schools in east Toronto, for over 30 years

September 2023
We gathered at Black Lab Brewing for a wonderful evening, where we heard talks from previous selected charities Dixon Hall (April 2023) and Chris Hunsburger (June 2023).
The group nominated three charities, and in an unprecedented event voted to support Chris Hunsburger and Penny’s Promise again!

June 2023
We gathered at 99 Bottles and Fearless meat for a very memorable evening, including a deli feast courtesy of David Brown at Fearless Meat.
We supported our friend and fellow member Chris Hunsburger, who’s daughter Penny is fighting a rare form of degenerative muscular dystrophy called Selenon SEPN-1. Chris’ family is raising money to fund critical research toward finding a cure.

April 2023
The group gathered at Beaches Brewing and raised $3,500 to support Dixon Hall, a multi-service agency serving more than 10,000 people annually in the east downtown community.

The group raised gathered at Black Lab Brewing and raised $2,700 to support New Hope Leslieville, a critically important men’s shelter in the East End

It’s easy, fun and feels great. We meet up for one hour 4 times a year. We nominate east end charities and vote. The winning charity receives $100 from each member.
